Ambassador of Pakistan Mohammad Nadeem Khan, held a meeting with the Greek Minister for Citizen Protection, H.E. Michalis Chrisochoidis on September 29, 2020. Both had a detailed discussion on issues of mutual interest. Regarding the incident that happened last month in Crete, and the subsequent arrest of Pakistani labourers, the Ambassador expressed his reservations on the arrests. The Minister assured the Ambassador that necessary measures were taken by the Ministry to avoid recurrence of such incidents in future. Both sides also discussed was and means to further strengthen mutual cooperation in combating human smuggling and related crimes.
